とめ手羽

赤い手形の看板がどうも気になる西新の『とめ手羽』へ。
店名の通り「とめ手羽」と言うメニューで有名らしいのですが、普通の手羽先と
どう違うのだろうか?東京や大阪にも支店があるのですが、一体何県が発祥なのか?
謎が多いお店ですが、まずはこちらを注文してみました。

熊本直送の馬刺し!しかも色んな種類があるのが嬉しいですね。
赤白ツートンなのはフタエゴでしたね。白いのはタテガミです。残りはどれがどれだか、
正直言って分かりませんが、どれも新鮮で美味かった!これは注文する価値あり。

そして名物の「とめ手羽」です!普通の手羽先よりも長い感じですね。
上手く成形したのか、始めからそういう形なのか分かりません。外側がカリッと
しているのですが、普通のから揚げのカリッという感じとは全然違いますね。
どうやら秘伝のタレにつけた後に素揚げしてあるらしい。ここがとめ手羽のこだわりか。
